ISO may change its processes following OOXML debacle
Blog As OOXML has now been ratified, would it be fair to say that ISO had its hands tied by its own processes, in that SC34 had to accept the votes of the National Bodies? I asked the ISO spokesperson whether Microsoft's actions, which included...

OOXML clears ISO voting

ISO rejects Microsoft OOXML
Talkback I would expect, that by February, enough money will be paid, or enough threats made, for OOXML to become an open, proprietary standard. It is not Microsoft''s behavior to not get it's way.

Talkback Enough money, or promises will be made to overcome the deficiencies of OOXML to remove it from the standard list. I doubt Brazil, or South Africa's protests will cause the iSO to revise their decision.
