Talkback I have downloaded the Beta version of Windows XP Service Pack 2 and the Popup Blocker alone is worth the effort! I have used a number of other popup blockers (e.g. Google Toolbar, NoAds, etc.and the new Microsoft one has blocked virtually every popup.

Talkback Only the version of IE included with Windows XP Service Pack 2 contains a popup blocker. "Like Internet Explorer, Firefox also includes a built-in pop-up blocker.

Talkback Popup are gone and found when I run adware or spybot, I hardly ever see any more spyware. I have been running Winows xp with service pack 2 for about a month.

Talkback To the author : Also, XP service pack 2 indeed introduced popup blocking to MSIE, which they indeed, copied from FireFox. Appologies for this non-constructive comment, but I just have to respond to this.

Service Pack 2: Patching the unpatchable

Talkback I'm sorry all your friends raid the warez, porn, and "free" games sites and click 'yes' to every certificate popup. I couldn't even finish the article. This author is ridiculous. There are tons of freeware programs to remove this spyware.

Talkback The popup blocker is a nice little addition (although I still have the google pop up bloker installed too, just in case) and the firewall option is also usefull but again I still have Zone Alarm installed just in case.
