Microsoft proposes ID solution for spam
News A company spokesman said SPF tests for outbound mail are currently compatible with SenderID. The company plans to test inbound SPF with SenderID beginning in September. A Yahoo spokeswoman said the company is also looking into SenderID technology.

Spam: Together, we can fight it
Talkback Sigh, SenderID, authentication crap and all that isn't going to help (for long). Really, people need to learn to think outside of the box. There's strenght in numbers, there's strength in diversity and there's strength in decentralization.

Stamping out spam
Talkback I do agree with allot of what Meng is saying, and have read many of the pro's and con's of SPF, SenderID, Domain keys etc. There are problems with all of these, but they are problems that cannot be resolved.

Microsoft revamps Sender ID
Talkback So don't be surprised if SenderID will only make things worse. Sigh. This won't help because things still can get spoofed and it's a far cry from preventing systems getting breached and abused as spam relay hosts.
