Skype is way better than regular phones, except SkypeOut, which works only when it feels like it
Member Review The thing which is a bit surprising is that skypeOut really only works 50% of the time or so at best and even then the quality is sometimes worse than the worst mobile. Skype has dramatically changed the way we work.

Skype: Do you get what you pay for?
Talkback I also use SkypeOut to make limited calls in the US. SkypeOut quality is fair however I did not expect anything but fair. I use Skype to Conference call with a my study group. I personally have never had problems.
