Talkback Windows will slow down if left alone. A clean install discarding all the harware vendors awfull software and a little maintenance will keep your windows machine flying along for years if need be.

Talkback I have noticed a slow down in connections, mostly in the early morning hours, and with most sites on the U.S East coast. I just figured since they are one hour ahead of me that was the reason, but it could go deeper.
