SP1 all pluses
Member Review I was a bit nervous installing SP1 beta on my new laptop as there were plenty of posts on the Microsoft SP1 forums with issues ranging from BSOD to random restarts. In the end I am very glad I did install it.

Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) confusion
Blog I'm seeing a lot of posts on various forums and blogs with people complaining that SP1 although released has not shown up on their windows update. Many are pointing to driver compatibility issues preventing perhaps being the cause.

Vista SP1 - No Go for Me at the Moment
Blog Comment Update - I found a newer driver for the AuthenTec fingerprint reader (7.9.0.4), but after installing that Windows Update still doesn't offer SP1 to me. Obviously something else is still lacking, but I'm not sure what.

Vista SP1 - Now Installed and Running
Blog Comment Glad you managed to get SP1 installed. And thanks for the credit. The file transfer I found was slightly quicker in general but the biggest improvement in speed was transferring from a system running vista to another system running vista.
