Blog Comment I'm a bit cynical about SPDY myself; I think it's less a proposal for a standard, and more a bright idea from the backroom, but that's by the by. The bit that made me tin-foil-hat twitchy is location data.

Blog Google has previously said it is working on other aspects of Internet infrastructure, in particular SPDY, a replacement for the HTTP protocol that's also designed to speed up network transactions and increase their security .
