Blog Comment Gibbon every time Vista is extremely slow, even on computers apparently designed for it. When I've tried it on computers not designed for Vista it seems to spend its time telling me how bad my hardware is.

Blog Comment "Why is Vista so slow" I would see if there is any way the manufacturer could give you the OEM install disk for Vista (not those recovery disks that basically reformat and re-image the drive, that just will re-install the junk that came with it...

Blog Comment Ubuntu also runs faster, looks nicer than the new Vista Aero desktop, and uses FAR fewer resources. I did however get the games that were not running correctly under Vista to work fine under the WINE Windows Emulator included with Ubuntu!
