Talkback Nobody but M$ knows exactly what info , or how much, WGA is collecting, or what M$ is doing with the information. It just isn't right to give someone open access to your machines, for any reason.

Talkback I have many OEM copies running, and a few "genuine" boxed copies of XP pro. NONE of them have passed validation. If Windows was more like $50 or $70 per copy, more people would be glad to purchase a copy.

Windows 'piracy' checks rounded again
Talkback Doesn't require a hack to defeat the WGA, just block it in IE plug-in management and download your updates. The problem with WGA is it appears to be incorrectly identifying legitimate installations as unlicensed.
