Traveling Success With Linux
Blog Comment I promise you, I didn't download or add anything to get WiFi connections working on Ubuntu and Kubuntu (both Hardy Heron 8.04.1). As for Mandriva, it was every bit as easy to set up the WiFi, and it works just as well.

Vista Vs. XP: The Final Retreat
Blog Linksys Customer Support said that it looks like it is probably a Vista problem, and neither Intel (the WiFi adapter) nor Microsoft have any reports of similar problems that I can find. XP. I know that I am getting tired of writing about.

Maybe Vista Really Is Getting Better
Blog Comment It is still a significant problem - basically all of the things I have which didn't work with Vista when it first came out STILL don't work with it - HP 4670 scanner, Linksys WiFi adapters, Canon BJC-55 scan head, and so on.
