An Impressive Week With Ubuntu
Blog I mentioned last week that I had loaded Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) on my older "test" laptop, a Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook S2110. Next I wanted to see if the WiFi connection would work with my home network.

Blog Comment I promise you, I didn't download or add anything to get WiFi connections working on Ubuntu and Kubuntu (both Hardy Heron 8.04.1). As for Mandriva, it was every bit as easy to set up the WiFi, and it works just as well.
