Blog Comment I promise you, I didn't download or add anything to get WiFi connections working on Ubuntu and Kubuntu (both Hardy Heron 8.04.1). As for Mandriva, it was every bit as easy to set up the WiFi, and it works just as well.

Blog Initially it appeared that sometimes I could not get the WiFi to connect properly. Intel WiFi 4965AGN.Atheros 802.11b/g If I go to the Windows Network and Sharing Center it would say "connected" but with "limited connectivity".

Blog In particular, the Intel Core2 Duo CPU, Mobile Intel 965 Express graphics, and the 4965AGN WiFi interested me - without all of them working properly, I could not even consider changing my primary laptop to Ubuntu.

Maybe Vista Really Is Getting Better
Blog Comment It is still a significant problem - basically all of the things I have which didn't work with Vista when it first came out STILL don't work with it - HP 4670 scanner, Linksys WiFi adapters, Canon BJC-55 scan head, and so on.
