Intel Macs Will Struggle With Vista

Talkback In regards to vista support, the 64bit Pro Macs with 64bit intel processors will support the EFI boot process. Vista will implement EFI in 64bit versions. Apple Pro towers will support 64bit processors from Intel.

Microsoft Lauds IE As 'the Most Secure Browser'

Talkback The more complex something is the more chance of something going wrong. However, a lack of features can be a security risk as well. Take Windows 95 for example. I hate it! It crashes all the time and the driver support for it is limited.

Blog Comment My biggest problem going all in to Linux is that I use a windows mobile smartphone for everything. It syncs to Outlook. I also have Itunes that sync to my IPOD. Are there good alternatives that do the same that are Linux platform?

You Can Or Used To Able To Get A Naked Pc From Dell

Talkback In the past I have ordered pc's with no OS from Dell. It took a little persistence but eventually by threatening to take my order else where they buckled. This was an order for about 30 Optiplex desktops.

Talkback I would also like to point out to Harpless that i hardly think Safari is going to worry Firefox as a browser. Like i have said before, I dont even use it on my Mac, Guess what i use? thats right platform independant firefox.

Rogue Code Can Take Down Linux Systems

Talkback This has always been the case with every platform, where is the news? With the ZX81 and CBM machines, it only took 1-2 lines of code. MS-DOS didn't need much more. Windows 1-3 needed just a bad library call to bring the machine to its knees.
