O2 Baffled By Huge Roaming Bill
News I knew it would be expensive to use my XDA but I did not think I would be charged £170 in one day for using it. O2 will also replace "what might be a faulty handset", an XDA II, for free. O2 has now agreed to replace Machin's XDA II and waive the...

A Brilliant Combo With Everything You Need
Member Review I have had my xda IIi for over a month, and I can honestly say it is a faboulous PDA/phone. I recently traded my iPAQ 2210 and bought this and I have not regretted that decision. Its strenghts are:
performance -the processor really shines here
the...

Definitely Worth Getting
Member Review I'd been looking at getting the old xda, but held out for the new xda II version, and all I can say is -- wow! And just to make everyone green with envy, I managed to pick one up for £149 plus half-price line rental as I work for a reseller and was...

Union Calls For Ban On Staff Tracking
Talkback My husband has been given a tracking device through a XDA system. Can you tell me where I stand on this, as I am now in a full blown argument about my privacy and how his company should not make him bring this device home.

O2 Baffled By Huge Roaming Bill
Talkback I have an XDA II and have similarly had non-stop billing problems with O2. I am cut off every month, despite the fact my bills are always paid by direct debit. It usually takes 48 hours to get re-connected, O2 admit it's their fault but can't offer...

Blackberrys...one Email A Day Keeps The Doctor At Bay
Blog Comment I love my XDA exec. I do most of my blogging from it because I waste 3hrs a day communting - which can now be time well spent. The Push-To-Inbox feature that Blackberry are so proud of wasn't available on those phones but they are on most Windows...

I-mate JAM review
Reviews Measuring just 5.8cm wide by 10.8cm deep by 1.81cm high and weighing 160g the i-mate JAM is considerably smaller and lighter than Pocket PC Phone edition devices from O2 (the xda II at 7cm by 13cm by 1.9cm and 190g) and HP (the h6340 at 7.5cm by...

Orange SPV review
Reviews Information is more legible on a handheld screen the size of the Jornada’s (or the O2 xda’s), and many people will also find it easier to enter data on a handheld device. True, you can get most of these features in a device like the Jornada 928 WDA...

Have Apple Got It Wrong With The IPhone?
Blog Comment I've also used the Symbian web browser and Opera's improvement on my SE P900 and Pocket IE on my O2 XDA IIs as well as on a number of other more recent PDA smartphones and you neglect to mention they suck.

I-mate PDA2 review
Reviews The PDA2 measures 6.9cm wide by 13cm deep by 1.9cm high -- matching the xda IIi almost exactly. There are ready-made capture settings for MMS video and Contact Photos, and you can also capture video at resolutions up to 240 by 320 pixels.

O2 Xda Exec review
Reviews O2 may have given us an early look at the Xda Exec, but a flurry of devices based on the same HTC Universal hardware is expected shortly from other UK operators, as well as from operator-agnostic vendors i-mate and Qtek.

Get What You Pay For?
Talkback It still only a 412mhz processor with 116mb of ram compared to a 520mhz processor with 128mb ram on my last phone - the xda exec - however the OS runs a lot quicker and smoother than windows mobile 5 and so it feels like a faster phone even though...

ASUS M930 review
Reviews The first clamshell-format Windows Mobile device was the 2005 HTC Universal, which appeared in various guises including, in the UK, the Orange SPV M5000, T Mobile MDA Pro, Vodafone v1640, O2 Xda Exec and, SIM-free, as the i-mate JASJAR.

HP Jornada 928 WDA review
Reviews The device itself is also on the large side: in direct side-by side comparison with O2’s xda, the 928 WDA is slightly wider and considerably taller -- around 10mm is added by the second phone-only display.

IPhone Not For Me
Talkback Even after 2.5years the XDA exec still is the top phone and will remain so until the new edition comes out later this year. I like when multiple gadgets can be combined into one but this ipod phone merger just doesn't cut it for me.

I Bought One
Member Review I almost went with the O2 XDA Orbit which does have it, but had a discount from TMobile for being a heavy plan user, which made a not insignificant price difference. I also appreciate having a high street shop I can go to for support.

Excellent In What It Does
Member Review I changed from my xda because I couldn't cope with the size and its propensity to break. I've had this phone for a few weeks now and I think it's brilliant. There are two minor faults with the phone as I see it.
